Position Overview

Voda Cleaning & Restoration is seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to manage and execute water, mold, and fire restoration projects. The ideal candidate is someone who can run jobs independently
, lead a team of technicians, communicate confidently with clients and adjusters, and keep projects on track without needing constant direction.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage restoration projects from start to finish, including water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire/smoke cleanup.
  • Independently handle job assessments, moisture mapping, equipment selection, and work plans.
  • Direct and coach technicians on proper restoration procedures and safety standards.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, adjusters, and other stakeholders.
  • Complete all documentation accurately (photos, moisture logs, job notes, equipment logs, etc.) using company systems.
  • Ensure compliance with IICRC standards (S500/S520).
  • Set up containments, negative air, dehumidification, air movers, HEPA systems, and specialty equipment.
  • Maintain jobsite organization, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency response.
  • Uphold Vodas high standards of customer service, integrity, and quality workmanship.
Qualifications
  • 24+ years experience in restoration (water, mold, or fire).
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to run jobs independently.
  • Proficiency with moisture meters, psychrometrics, and restoration equipment.
  • IICRC certifications strongly preferred (WRT required; ASD/AMRT a plus).
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and various environments.
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
