Sign Installer

Hourly | Non-Exempt | Onsite

Sign Installers are responsible for the transport, installation, removal, and assembly of interior and exterior signage and graphics. This role supports safe, accurate installations while maintaining strong customer relationships and high quality standards in the field.

Sign Installation, Removal, and Assembly

• Install interior and exterior signage independently or as part of a team based on work order specifications.
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, digging equipment, and installation hardware.
• Read and use a tape measure including fractional measurements.
• Mix and pour concrete for small sign footings.
• Load, transport, and unload signage and equipment safely.
• Operate company vehicles, trailers, lifts, and bucket trucks.
• Work comfortably at heights or in confined spaces.
• Prepare mounting surfaces, remove old signage, and leave job sites clean and organized.
• Complete basic job documentation and photo records.
• Confirm signage meets work order specifications and assist with quality control.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain a professional and respectful presence on job sites.
• Communicate clearly with clients and assist with on-site problem solving.

• Participate in training opportunities and remain current on tools, products, and installation methods.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members.

• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Reliable, honest, and motivated to learn.
• Able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and in team settings.
• Valid MO driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to work overtime, including overnight travel and occasional weekends.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ pounds.

• Ability to tow and back trailers safely.
• Experience with interior and exterior sign installations.
• Experience operating aerial lifts and forklifts.
• Experience with ADA and graphic installations.
• Post hole digging and concrete experience.
• Electrical background helpful.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and site plans.
