Installation Technician

The Installation Technician is responsible for performing installation services for Strong Technical Services cross the United States. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter, has strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and works well both on their own and within a team environment. This position will require extensive travel and will be a mix of both over the road and air travel.

• Install projection screens, frames, and masking systems
• Install projection screens, frames, and masking systems
• Install cinema seating systems, drapery, and speaker systems
• Run network and speaker cabling
• Install display panels on walls and other surfaces
• Install high‑end LED Video Walls, and specialty displays
• Construct and break down of scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structures
• Load and unload building materials
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding quality, specifications, and delivered condition of products
• Willing to take ownership and take on other duties as assigned
• This position requires in and out of market travel up to 100% of the time; this position requires the ability to work weekends, occasional holidays, and overnight

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-3 years of technical or installation experience preferred
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
• Basic knowledge of construction techniques
• Must be comfortable completing work using ladders, scaffolding, and lifts
• Must be able to lift weight in excess of 50lbs regularly
• Must be able to sit, stand, push, or pull for periods of time
• Follow safety regulations in accordance with local guidelines
• This position requires a valid, state issued driver's license, and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Comfortable working in a high‑stress, face‑paced environment with shifting priorities
• Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
• Self‑starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified
• Ability to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization
• Must be able to work independently
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Proficient with MS Office and basic computer networking

The pay range for this role is:

21 - 27 USD per hour (Remote (St. Louis, Missouri, US))
