Rapid Fire Safety & Security is looking for an Alarm Service Technician who will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining alarm equipment, ensuring it meets safety and quality standards.

• Familiarity with fire alarm, intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues or malfunctions in equipment and systems.
• Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems.
• Conduct tests and calibrations to verify equipment performance and accuracy.
• Install, assemble, and dismantle equipment and systems as required.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities, including the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve technical issues.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and technologies to provide effective solutions.
• Provide technical support and assistance to customers or end-users.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once, switching between various tasks quickly.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• High school diploma or equivalent; required.
• Technical certification or associate degree in a related field; preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technical systems, equipment, and tools.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem‑solving techniques.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
