Senior Wire Technician – Emerson

Lead the charge in building world‑class Industrial Control Systems! As a Senior Wire Technician, you’ll tackle the most complex projects, mentor the team, and ensure every system meets the highest standards of performance and safety.

• Independently assemble and test complete electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Connect and test components (Delta
  
  V™, Ovation™, PLCs, relays, transmitters, solenoid valves).
• Apply expert knowledge of NEC, wiring codes, and diagnostic techniques to solve challenges.
• Drive quality and efficiency while meeting customer and schedule requirements.
• Provide hands‑on training and leadership to Wire Technicians I and II.

• Expert knowledge of electrical theory and principles.
• Mastery of the tools and equipment used in the electrical trades.
• Ability to interpret, apply, and disseminate drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Commitment to health, safety, cost, and quality consciousness.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand for long periods, kneel, reach, work in awkward postures, and climb ladders or step stools.

• 5+ years of experience in similar roles and environments.
• Completion of a skilled trades program in electrical or automation systems.
• Extensive history of electrical and leadership experience.
• Previous work with Industrial Control Systems or PLC integration.
