Allied Universal - - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical calls, disturbances, and alarm activations per post orders;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns;
Monitor access points and interior areas, checking identification and/or credentials as required, verifying authorized entry, and directing visitors to appropriate locations;
Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision, and support investigations by preserving information and video as directed
