** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including during emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter potential threats and support a secure atmosphere.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.

+ Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related concerns and uphold the standards of the financial institution environment.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms, emergencies, or other incidents that may arise during shifts.

+ Comply with all licensing requirements and maintain appropriate certifications for carrying a firearm while on duty, following all applicable laws and company policies.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
