Overview

Our client, a leading organization in pet nutrition and quality assurance, is seeking a Chemist to join their team. As a Chemist, you will be part of the Analytical Laboratories department supporting research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Chemist
Location: Saint Louis, MO

• Execute and interpret complex procedures and protocols within research projects
• Prepare and interpret detailed reports of experimental results
• Follow established methods to ensure timely and accurate results
• Perform analytical equipment validation, calibration, and preventive maintenance
• Assist in method development, process improvements, and drafting SOPs

• Bachelor s degree in Chemistry or a related field
• 3+ years of analytical laboratory or industry experience
• Experience with analytical instrumentation and troubleshooting assays and equipment
• 2+ years of experience with chromatography and/or mass spectrometry (HPLC, GC, GCMS, LCMS, etc.)
• Experience working in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory is preferred
