• Greet and assist customers in selecting the right automotive accessories for their specific needs and interests.
• Answer and respond to customer inquiries regarding automobile accessories.
• Explain performance of the chosen accessory and its benefits to customers.
• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
• Communicate with customers on parts status.
• Receive payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Provide high-level service to internal and external customers.
• Provide follow-up services to customers to inspire repeat and referral business.
• Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Keep abreast of new and the latest automobile products and accessories.
• Display automobile accessories in the store in an organized manner.
• Maintain and manage automobile accessories and parts inventory control.
• Coordinate and assist other sales persons in the store.

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have experience with auto parts sales (preferred).
• Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
• Have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screeniing and background check.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
