Compensation & Schedule- A Monday‑Friday 8a - 5p schedule with paid holidays, in‑office and field work
- First‑year earning potential of $75,000 - $100,000 including commissions, dependent on experience and selling ability

- Comfort making cold calls over the phone and in‑person
- Ability to make oral presentations and clearly articulate policies and procedures

- Resilience in response to rejection
- Current and valid driver’s license required
- College degree preferred
- Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- CRM experience preferred
- Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data, reports
- Target businesses in the assigned area and visit each established Lamar client as well as competitor’s clients in a specified time frame
- Exhibit working knowledge of local and national competition
- Cluster accounts to work them efficiently
- Identify potential growth areas and open new accounts
- Use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects and follow up on leads, and prepare proposals, written presentations, and research
- Develop presentation skills and present to clients regularly
- Develop new product knowledge and selling skills
- Actively participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows
- Perform administrative duties such as maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans a month in advance, following up on client production orders and problem‑solving any issues, and maintaining organized records of clients and sales activity
- Combination of office environment and field sales calls and servicing existing accounts
- Light lifting, reading, color distinction, depth perception, peripheral vision; less than 50% sitting, standing, talking, turning, walking; nights spent away from home traveling less than 10%
