• The Sr. KAM is a salesperson responsible for meeting sales quotas and expense budgets for assigned clients by managing sales programs, promotional spending, distribution levels, shelf placement and strategic planning initiatives.
• Our clients are manufacturers, vendors, or brands contracted by Advantage; our customers are retailers, wholesalers, or distributors to whom we sell the clients’ brands.
• Collaborate with clients to develop strategic plans, work with retailer associates (buyers, category managers, replenishment managers, etc.) on headquarters calls to implement programs.
• Own the relationship with clients; decide on trade‑fund spending to drive sales; sign, implement, and execute contracts on behalf of clients.
• Work closely with internal Advantage associates (Customer Managers, order entry, claims, category management, schematics, retail associates) to increase sales volume; may serve one or multiple clients, covering customer relations and implementation.
• Clients include Pioneering (no distribution), Regional (non‑national contracts), or Tier 3 (minimal volume, SKU counts, commission revenue) manufacturers.
