Join our team as a Neuro Health Sales Specialist focused on the psychiatry space. Your role will involve promoting a long‑acting injectable therapy for schizophrenia and other psychiatric products throughout the St. Louis South area.

The OpportunityThe Sales Specialist works within a team that meets performance goals through compliant, ethical, and collaborative strategies. Responsibilities include analyzing trends, building relationships, delivering product demonstrations, and maintaining superior customer service.
How You’ll Spend Your Day- Achieve all sales performance goals and objectives for your geographical assignment.
- Collaborate across sales leadership, market access, and other Teva teams to coordinate efforts.
- Develop business plans to exceed territory‑level sales goals.
- Build rapport with healthcare providers (HCP) and office staff at all levels.
- Provide product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in‑servicing of products.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide education.
- Maintain a call average as defined in the sales plan, focusing on top target customers.
- Apply creative problem‑solving techniques to improve performance and company effectiveness.
- Adhere to all Teva compliance policies and guidelines.
- Territory boundaries may change based on business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred; experience in psychiatric therapeutic areas is strongly preferred.
- Record of achieving sales goals and building effective customer relationships.
- Experience launching products in the psychiatric space across multiple care settings.
- Ability to interact with customers in live and virtual environments and proficiency with technology.
- Understanding of reimbursement coverage and pull‑through strategies and experience in all pertinent settings (CMHC, specialty pharmacy, private practice).
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred; proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience calling on community mental health centers (CMHC) is a plus.
- Ability to travel as required, including overnight and/or weekend travel.
- Valid U.S. driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
- Candidate must pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
- Sales Specialist – 1 year pharmaceutical sales experience or 2 years B2B sales experience (required).
- Professional Sales Specialist – 3 years pharmaceutical sales experience (required).
- Sr. Sales Specialist – 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience (required).
- Exec Sales Specialist – 7 years pharmaceutical sales experience (required).
The annual starting salary ranges from $88,000 to $160,000, depending on level, experience, and market. The position also qualifies for a sales incentive plan based on defined targets.
