This role oversees daily store operations, leads staff and volunteers, drives sales, and serves as the primary merchandise buyer for Forai’s boutique. You’ll curate mission-aligned products, manage inventory, and create an inviting shopping experience that connects customers to meaningful stories and impact.

• Serve as primary buyer for the boutique, sourcing and selecting mission-aligned jewelry, home, and gift items
• Curate and refresh seasonal assortments from Forai artisans and purpose-driven vendors
• Analyze sales and inventory data to inform buying, pricing, and merchandising decisions
• Lead and support retail staff and volunteers through training, scheduling, and coaching
• Oversee daily store operations including POS, cash handling, inventory, and visual merchandising
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build customer loyalty
• Support financial goals across in-store, online, and pop-up sales

• Experience in retail sales and customer service; boutique buying or merchandising experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Comfortable with POS systems and inventory management
• Ability to balance creativity with business goals
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends
• Passion for Forai’s mission and intercultural sensitivity
