Research Scientist
We’re partnering with a well-established food ingredient manufacturer in the greater St. Louis, MO , area to find a talented Senior Meat Scientist to lead innovation and product development in meat applications. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll drive sensory, analytical evaluations, and create novel product designs, playing a key part in shaping the company’s growth.
You’ll thrive in this newly created position within a collaborative R&D team (10 scientists focused on meat, flavors, applications, and sensory) and will have the autonomy to take the lead on projects, reporting directly to the R&D Manager. As the meat side of the business expands, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact and shape the direction of future innovations.
KeyQualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or a related field required (Master’s or PhD preferred)
- 4+ Years of hands‑on R&D experience within protein products, specifically
- Relocation assistance available
- Comp range $100-$120k
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
