Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for the assigned patients, evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers, coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, and performs duties in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state (or compact), meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications may be required: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or other unit‑specific certifications.
- Preferred Education: Any additional education.
- Preferred Licensure: Any additional licenses.
- Preferred Experience: Any additional experience.
- Preferred
Certifications:

- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

- Shift Differential Pay:
Days, Nights, Weekends. - Stay Pay Program: $2/hr on productive time at 2, 5, 10, 20 year anniversaries (up to $8/hr).
- LPN > RN Bridge Program Assistance.
- RN > BSN Bridge Program (up to $16,000).
- Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 annually for continuing education.
- PTO begins accruing immediately, including a volunteer day.
- Required
Education:
Nursing degree from an accredited school; BSN preferred. - License: Current RN license or temporary permit in Missouri.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (CPR) certification via the American Heart Association.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred Experience: 1 year LPN experience.
- Licensure: Current LPN license in the hiring state; responsible for maintaining license.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support certification via AHA within 30 days of hire.
- LPN‑IV Certification completed or within 3 months of hire.
