RN​/MS - Trauma - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

• BSN completion preferred

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program:
Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

BJC policy:
Every other weekend required.

RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe.

No medical marijuana cards accepted.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Will need to pass Relias EKG exam. Med/Surg, Blood Product Administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Insulin, PCA, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Peripheral nerve block catheters, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac.

Required Credentials:
Missouri requires a MO license or a compact license in their home state. Missouri will not issue a license to anyone with a license/residency in another compact state. Compact license MUST match the state where candidate permanently lives. If candidate has moved to a new compact state and license does not match, they must be submitted to the proper licensure project and obtain the correct compact license.
