We are searching for compassionate Advanced Practice Providers (NP/PA) to join our Southside Family Practice! Focus on delivering high-quality care in a supportive, physician-led environment!
Opportunity- Part-time opening
- Schedule will be 2 1/2 - 3 days. Days can be of your choosing. Work full days or half days.
- No nights or holidays
- Not benefit eligible
- 1 - 2 years + of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience is strongly preferred.
- This position does share in call with the Providers in the office - typically one night per week and about every sixth weekend.
- Outpatient focused clinical practice
- Join a collaborative team and develop a 1:1 relationship with patients and clinical staff members
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients
- Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physician partner
- Emphasize preventive care, wellness, and patient education
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic health record (Next Gen)
- Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
- Participate in quality improvement and care coordination initiatives
- Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing or Physician Assistant-Master’s Degree
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in Missouri (or eligibility)
- Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, team-based care
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with physicians
