Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift position requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least two years of ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Emergency Room of an acute care hospital

• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 17:45 to 06:15

• Typical patient ratio of 1:4

• Weekend coverage of two shifts every other weekend is required, with night shifts scheduled on Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday

• No on-call or floating required

• EPIC charting system is used; previous EPIC experience may be required

• Navy scrubs are required for this position

• No cost for parking on site

• Maximum of 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract; no time off permitted during the first week of orientation

• Permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler

• Travelers may remain for up to 18 months and must take a three-month break after

Requirements

• Active MO or compact RN license required

• Minimum of two years of recent Emergency Room experience

• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS are required

• CPI and TNCC certifications are preferred

• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted

• Pending license accepted for consideration
