Regional Float Pool LPN - East Region

The Regional Resource LPN will float between the designated Community Mercy Hospital facilities.

Status: Full Time

Shift: Nights

The Licensed Practice Nurse plans, implements and evaluates individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients in accordance with nursing standards. The role includes floating across multiple Mercy facilities, collaborating with diverse teams, and adapting to varying patient needs and settings.

• Required Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Liscensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
• Experience: One year of recent bedside LPN experience to work Med/Surg. For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bedside LPN experience.
• Preferred Experience: Epic experience
• Certifications (Must have to start):
  • Med/Surg (MS) - BLS
• Critical Care (CC) - BLS, ACLS
• Emergency Department (ED) - BLS, ACLS, & PALS
• IV certification required
