Position Details
Regional Float Pool LPN - East Region
The Regional Resource LPN will float between the designated Community Mercy Hospital facilities.
Status: Full Time

- PLUS Regional Float Pool Perk AND Shift Differentials: $2.75/Evenings, $3.75/Nights, $1.50/Weekends

The Licensed Practice Nurse plans, implements and evaluates individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients in accordance with nursing standards. The role includes floating across multiple Mercy facilities, collaborating with diverse teams, and adapting to varying patient needs and settings.
Qualifications- Required Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Liscensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
- Experience: One year of recent bedside LPN experience to work Med/Surg. For all other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.) a minimum of two years of recent bedside LPN experience.
- Preferred Experience: Epic experience
- Certifications (Must have to start):
- Med/Surg (MS) - BLS
- Critical Care (CC) - BLS, ACLS
- Emergency Department (ED) - BLS, ACLS, & PALS
- IV certification required
- Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; bending and stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds
