Overview
Find your calling forms direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Health System, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the respective State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics and the Co-Worker Code of Conduct.
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
- Provide direct patient care and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across all age groups.
- Maintain compliance with nursing practice guidelines and Mercy’s mission and standards.
RN & LPN Opportunities — Trauma Surgery
Full-time & Part-time;
Day shift, Night shift;
Weekend option available.

Incentives:
Up to $10,000 NO CONTRACT Sign-on Incentive for RNs;
Up to $2,000 NO CONTRACT Sign-on Incentive for LPNs;

Stay Pay Program — $2/hr on productive time (24/7 bedside eligible position) at 2, 5, 10, and 20 year anniversaries (up to $8/hr).
RN & LPN Bridge Programs and Tuition Reimbursement: RN > BSN Bridge Program (up to $16,000);
Tuition reimbursement up to $2,000 annually for continuing education.
PTO begins accruing immediately, including a volunteer day.
Qualifications RN Qualifications- Required
Education:
Nursing Degree from an accredited school; BSN preferred - License: Current RN license in the State of Missouri (or RN Temporary Permit as applicable)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart Association
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred Experience: 1 year LPN experience
- Licensure: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; must obtain and maintain a current LPN license within the hiring state; meet all State Board requirements
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire); LPN-IV Certification must be completed within 3 months of hire
