Overview
The Neuro Medicine unit provides care to a diverse population with a specialty in neuro‑medicine and epilepsy monitoring unit. In the EMU we work with physicians to induce and monitor patients with seizures. We also provide care to our neuro surgical patients offering an experience with both the medical and surgical population. Often our patients have multi‑system clinical diagnosis’ providing our staff with a solid nursing foundation as they continue or as they start their nursing career.

Creates and implement staff education and professional development activities and programs that optimize patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for clinical and non‑clinical areas.
- Collaborates with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present and or evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education and or professional development opportunities.
- Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborates with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops appropriate education plan.
- Participates in professional development and life long learning.
- Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Experience:
2-5 years - Supervisor

Basic Cardiovascular Life Support
