Position OverviewUtilizes the Mercy Nursing Professional Practice Model and nursing process to provide patient care, maintains professional accountability for the provision of care to assigned patients, coordinates patients’ care in conjunction with other departments, and upholds patients’ rights and confidentiality of information. Functions within the scope of nursing practice consistent with the State Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics, and the Co‑Worker Code of Conduct while performing duties in alignment with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Full‑time and part‑time opportunities available across multiple units in the Mercy South Float Pool.
Working Hours & Shift Options- 12‑hour shifts: 7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM
- 8‑hour evening shifts: 3 PM – 11 PM
Competitive pay with tiered differentials and additional shift differentials.
- Tier 3 (Med/Surg): +$5.00/hr
- Tier 2 (Stepdown): +$7.50/hr
- Tier 1 (ICU): +$10.00/hr
- Evening: +$2.75/hr
- Night: +$4.60/hr
- Weekend: +$1.50/hr
Up to $10,000 for eligible RNs.

Qualifications- Experience:
1–2 years of bedside RN experience - Education:
Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred) - License:
Current RN license in the state - Certifications:
BLS through the American Heart Association - Physical requirements/demands:
- Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
