Overview

Missouri Baptist Medical Center, a Magnet-Recognized hospital, is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a Full Time role in St. Louis, MO. BJC Health Care values highly skilled CRNAs to provide safe, high-quality anesthesia services.

• Participates in professional development
• Provides direct patient care and documents care given
• Ensures compliance with all applicable state, local, and federal laws that may apply to anesthesia services
• Completes the pre-anesthesia patient record, reviews laboratory data, and begins induction when appropriate
• Adheres to safety standards; this is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness

• Full-time position with an updated minimal call schedule
• Call is taken from home with a 30-minute call requirement
• Second call rarely required overnight
• Call is from home (no overnight hospital stays)

• Base salary starts at $243,500 for new grads (salary based on CRNA experience)
• Supplemental pay for call and hours worked beyond scheduled shifts
• Sign-On Bonus of $30,000
• Advanced Sign-On Bonus option for students of $1,500/month
• Annual Call Bonus of $15,000 for taking call
• Eligible for Annual Merits

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is an acute care hospital offering a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women and infants, breast health, GI, orthopedics, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Advanced practice nurse who works in collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons and other physicians to deliver anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures. This description is for employees transitioning from Ballas Anesthesia Inc during the initial offering period.

Minimum Requirements

• Nursing Diploma/Associate’s
• RN licensure

Experience

• No prior supervisor experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• CRNA certification

Education (Preferred)

• Master’s Degree
• Nursing (advanced degree preferred)
