Overview

The BJC Registered Nurse Career Ladder differentiates BJC as the place for nurses to work in the greater St. Louis area. This tool empowers nurses to work at the top of their license and own their career progression. Moves to higher ladder levels result in a percentage increase of current pay aligned with the new job description. Nights 7 pm to 7:30 am every other weekend rotation.

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Assesses and evaluates physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• Maintains constant alertness and safe manner as a safety-sensitive position.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma/Associate's.
• Experience:
  
  No experience required.
• License & Certification:
  Registered Nurse (RN).
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
