RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Overview

RN – Cardiac Cath Lab, Full‑Time (Days) at Mercy South. This upbeat, fast‑paced unit focuses on cardiovascular patients and works closely with cardiovascular physicians and clinics.

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for the assigned patients.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Perform duties consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.
• Support shift operations: 4‑10 hour days, 06:45‑17:15 plus after‑hours call with 30‑minute response time.
• Collaborate daily with ancillary departments.

• 3 procedural rooms
• 3 staff members per team
• 24/7 leadership support
• Rapid decision‑making and critical thinking required.

Ability to push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs, prolonged standing and walking, and flexibility to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure; meet all board requirements.
• Experience or interest in cardiac or critical care nursing.
