Nurse Manager - Outpatient Infusion Oncology Siteman Center

Overview

Leadership Opportunity in an Outpatient Infusion Therapy Oncology clinic setting. This role is an experienced Nurse Manager responsible for leading the outpatient infusion oncology team.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, days. No weekends, no holidays, no call.

Education:

BSN is required.

• Manage individuals including hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and developing professional growth plans. Ensure productivity and actions align with department goals established by leadership.
• Develop and adhere to departmental staffing, revenue, and/or expense budgets. Respond to changes in the business that affect budget goals.
• Direct the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care governed by evidence-based clinical and management practice.
• Ensure team compliance with departmental policies, regulatory requirements and professional standards; keep policies and procedures up-to-date and participate in revisions as needed.
• Promote and be accountable for customer satisfaction, process indicators, quality improvement plans, and outcomes in the work unit.
• Research, evaluate, select, and implement systems to improve efficiency of work unit operations.
• Support and assist the growth of existing or new programs.

• Outpatient experience preferred.
• Outpatient clinic leadership role with oncology focus and emphasis on patient experience, staff development, and operational excellence.
