Critical Care Float RN

• Float across multiple ICUs:
  Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac/Heart & Vascular, Neurology, Medical, and COVID
• Strong, independent ICU nurses required; will float to inpatient floors when ICU census is low
• ICU ratio: 2:1 (all shifts)
• Floor ratio: No more than 1:3
• May float to non-critical care units and serve as a patient sitter if needed
• Every other weekend required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience
• First-time travelers not accepted
• BLS and ACLS required
• Vent management, IV starts, Tele, conscious sedation, vasoactive drips required
