Role Purpose

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards.

Responsibilities
  • Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
  • Educates patients and families on managing their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care and medication administration.
  • Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patients, and families.
  • Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.

  • Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing
