Overview

The mother-baby postpartum unit has 30 beds, with nurses receiving extensive orientation and training. As a regional high-risk center, it offers advanced care for pregnancy complications and supports breastfeeding with a dedicated lactation team. Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose
Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
Responsibilities
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medications.
- Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engage in professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.
- This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe work practices.
