Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - South County IM

Overview

Esse Health is the largest independent physician practice in the St. Louis Metropolitan area with over 100+ physicians, in 35+ locations, serving nearly 130,000 patients. Esse Health is the team of medical professionals focused on keeping patients healthier, with medicine as a calling. We are currently looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our South County Internal Medicine office located at 5034 Griffin Road.

The IM Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is an expanded role that provides health care to adults. The APP provides routine checkups, including history and physical examinations, acute and chronic illness care, and health education to patients and their families, as well as promotes health and wellness. The APP works under the supervision and direction of a physician and represents Esse Health by providing health care information to Esse patients and the community through individual and group encounters.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.

- 5:00 p.m.

• Provide routine checkups, history and physical examinations, acute and chronic illness care, and health education to adult patients.
• Deliver care under the supervision and direction of a physician.
• Represent Esse Health by providing health care information to patients and the community through individual and group encounters.

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree of Science in Nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Licensure/Certification: A Missouri Registered Professional Nursing license or an active Physician Assistant license in the state of Missouri. The NP will maintain active certification as defined by the National Certification Board or Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioners or the American Nurses Association Certification Board.
