Missouri Baptist Medical Center is an acute care hospital in St. Louis County offering a full continuum of medical and surgical services, including heart care, cancer, women’s and infants, breast health, gastrointestinal, orthopedic, stroke, therapy, wound and pain management services. Under the direction of the manager, plans, directs, and coordinates activities of a unit on a designated shift. Performs direct patient care as needed and serves as a clinical resource to nursing and support staff. Assesses, plans, evaluates, and documents the nursing process for the assigned unit as required.

• Facilitate identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization through discharge and into ambulatory care.
• Lead the development and implementation of complex individual care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team and the patient, family, or caregiver.
• Champion evidence‑based practice through participation in journal clubs, practice change initiatives, and knowledge dissemination.
• Analyze gaps in practice standards and provide feedback to peers and leadership to enhance patient safety.
• Lead evaluation of patient and family experience, adjusting care to improve satisfaction and quality.
• Maintain constant alertness and perform job functions safely in a safety‑sensitive position.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma, Associate’s, or RN license.
• Experience:
  
  2–5 years as a registered nurse.
• Supervisor
  
  Experience:
  
  No prior supervisory experience required.
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Current RN license.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience:
  
  5–10 years as a registered nurse.
