This role is part of the BJC RN Career Ladder, providing opportunities for professional development and career progression. The unit is a 4‑bed ICU dedicated to critical care and has a focus on growth into Team Lead/Charge Nurse roles.

• $15,000 Sign‑On Bonus (eligible)
• 12‑hour day shifts, full time
• ICU experience required

Barnes‑Jewish West County Hospital offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment. The ICU serves a broad range of post‑surgical patients and operates as part of the clinical emergency response team.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or higher
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing*
• Current RN license

• Promote patient‑ and family‑centered care and educate patients and families on self‑management and medication administration.
• Participate in patient safety, quality, and regulatory activities and professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the interprofessional team.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Maintain a state of alertness and safety as required for a safety‑sensitive position.

• Current RN license
• Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing;
  Bachelor’s preferred
• No prior experience required
