The pay range is $30.00/hr - $47.28/hr and includes potential sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 and benefits eligibility.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJH) at Washington University Medical Center is a leading hospital, Magnet accredited, with its Alvin J. Siteman Cancer Center recognized as a comprehensive cancer center.

The Leukemia/Lymphoma Unit (6900) provides moderate to high acuity care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, stem cell transplants, and other oncologic treatments.

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards of care.

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engages in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with interprofessional team and patients.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
• Communicates plans of care across the continuum.
• Maintains safety-sensitiveness and alertness required by BJC.

• Education:
  
  Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree.
• Experience:
  
  No prior experience required.

  RN license.

  Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
