About the Outpatient Infusion CenterLocated in the Center for Advanced Medicine Building;
Suite 10A, the Outpatient Infusion Center at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital offers a range of intravenous (IV) infusion therapies for various medical conditions, including chemotherapy for non‑oncology indications. Services are provided across multiple specialties such as Allergy/Immunology, Bone Health, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, and Rheumatology.
We are seeking a nurse leader with strong people‑focused leadership experience to support daily operations in this space. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in adult care. Prior charge nurse or direct supervisory experience is strongly preferred, along with excellent communication and team‑building skills.

The Assistant Nurse Manager provides administrative support to Nurse Managers and direct reports, coordinating patient care, performance management, equipment purchasing/management, and statistical accumulation.
Responsibilities- Manages individuals: hires, trains, assigns work, evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans.
- Participates in departmental staffing and budget development, ensuring adherence to goals.
- Provides and oversees patient care per planned interventions, documents per policy.
- Creates and implements collaborative care plans based on assessment and diagnosis.
- Supports staff hours review, payroll updates, time‑card reconciliation, and communication.
- Recommends staffing needs, overtime, and annual increases; interviews for open positions and conducts performance reviews.
- Maintains consistent alertness and safe working practices as a safety‑sensitive position.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing - Experience:
2‑5 years of nursing practice - Supervisor
Experience:
No prior supervisory experience required - Licenses &
Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN)
