Clinical Nurse Operating Room – Barnes‑Jewish Hospital
Open position at Barnes‑Jewish Hospital, Main Campus, Operating Room Pod 3. Pay range: $30.00/hr – $47.28/hr.

- CT and vascular position
- 3/12 hour shifts (10:30 A – 11:00 P)
- 13 Operating Rooms
- 3–4 weekday call shifts and one weekend per 6‑week schedule
- 1 holiday/yr rotating Winter/Spring
- OR experience preferred
- Cardiac services include minimally invasive, heart failure, and heart transplants; thoracic, robotic and lung transplants plus vascular and endovascular surgery.

Preferred QualificationsRole purpose:
Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing care standards.
- Promotes patient‑ and family‑centered care in a healing environment; educates patients and families on illness or injury management, including post‑treatment home care and medication administration.
- Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance and engages in professional development.
- Develops, implements and documents individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patients/families. Proactively plans and ensures communication across the continuum of care.
- Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care, considering patient preferences and barriers.
