- $30/hour + variable shift incentive

Seeking a flexible, incentivized Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who can pick up day or night shifts as needed. No weekend, holiday, or shift requirement. Members of the Gig Nursing Program are responsible for scheduling a minimum number of hours, staying available on short notice, and remaining flexible for last‑minute shift changes. The Gig Nursing Program does not guarantee shift hours; cancellations may occur.
The Licensed Practical Nurse - GIG will float between Mercy Hospital facilities of their choice.

- Behavioral Health (BH)
- Emergency Department (ED)
- Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Medical‑Surgical (MS)
Required Education
:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Licensure
:
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration for comparable education and successful licensure. Must maintain a current LPN license in the state where duties are performed and meet all State Board of Nursing requirements.
Experience
:
- One year recent bedside LPN experience in Medical‑Surgical.
- Minimum two years recent bedside LPN experience for other specialties (ED, ICU, etc.).
Certifications
:
- Medical‑Surgical (MS) – BLS
- Critical Care (CC) – BLS, ACLS
- Emergency Department (ED) – BLS, ACLS, PALS
- IV certification required.
Preferred Experience
:
Epic system experience.
Physical Requirements
:
- Push, pull, or lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
- Grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as required.
