Who We Are and What We Do
At Stephen Ministries, we’re all about building a more caring world. We’re a nonprofit Christian educational organization that has been equipping people for half a century to care and relate with one another.
We’re best known for Stephen Ministry, a system used in over 14,000 churches from over 190 faith traditions to train church members to care for people going through life crises.
We also produce books, courses, videos, and other resources on topics like interpersonal communication, grief, empathy, caring for those who are hurting, assertive relating, and leadership. Our training and resources are used by individuals, churches, schools, businesses, hospitals, and other organizations around the globe.
We’re Looking ForBuilding a more caring world starts with having a great team and a great work environment. That’s why we hire people, not positions.
We’re on the lookout for people who are passionate about our mission, a good fit for our team, and driven to succeed. We work with each staff member to craft a fulfilling and engaging role that matches their gifts, skills, and experiences with the organization’s needs and goals.
