Job Description

This is a contract-to-hire position based out of Saint Louis, Missouri.

Work in a clean, well-lit food manufacturing facility that adheres to health and safety guidelines. Expect to work at a fast pace with standing; the environment can be dusty. The facility is climate controlled, but temperatures may rise to 100 degrees due to machinery and ovens. Contractors must wear hairnets, beard nets, steel-toed shoes, and lab coats.

• Work with ingredients that will become cookies, brownies, cakes, gourmet chocolate and other ice cream / cereal ingredients
• Pre-label bags and feed them into the bagger system
• Understand the software of the bagger system and perform light maintenance as required
• Ensure bags are properly sealed and weigh products to meet standards
• Operate various machinery such as panning machines, extrusion lines, crunch lines, or packaging equipment
• Mix, batch, pan, and pack products
• Lift up to 50 lbs as needed

• 6-12 months of previous food or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience
• Entry-level candidates without previous experience will be considered

• 6:30am - 3:00pm
• 6:30am - 6:45pm (2 on / 2 off / 3 on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off schedule)
• 2:30pm - 11:00pm
• 6:30pm - 6:45am (2 on / 2 off / 3 on / 2 off / 2 on / 3 off schedule)
• 10:30pm - 7:00am
• Overtime: 5-15 hours per week

• Pay range: $20.00 / hr

This is a fully onsite position in Affton, MO.
