Wiring Lead Job Description
This position involves working in a shop that builds high-quality, custom-engineered industrial control panels within a fast-paced, Lean manufacturing environment. The company serves a variety of industries, including packaging, pharmaceutical, and water/wastewater plants. Engineers design the products and provide diagrams for assembly, which the setup department uses to arrange all components. After verification, the panels proceed to the wiring department for completion.
Responsibilities- Wire control panels daily using blueprints and ladder diagrams.
- Lead a team of up to 45 to ensure timely and correct builds.
- Complete panels according to specific wiring and assembly guidelines.
- Use various hand tools and assist in fabricating electrical cabinets.
- Ensure all components fit according to the provided diagrams, making adjustments as needed.
- Experience in control panel wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and ladder diagrams.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- Leadership experience is required.
- An Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronic from Ranken or ITT is preferred.

Work EnvironmentWork in a structured environment with three shifts available. Overtime required: 11‑hour shifts. The dress code is casual, with jeans and a t-shirt, ensuring safety with closed shoes and avoiding loose clothing.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
