Location: St. Louis

Overview

You will report directly to our Electrical Supervisor and you’ll work 2nd or 3rd Shift out of our St Louis, MO location on an onsite schedule.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and safety of our operations by ensuring that all electrical systems are functioning optimally and effectively supporting our business needs. Produce high quality products and services for our customers. You will be required to meet production output, customer specifications, and site quality expectations. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area.

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to read and follow direction of specifications, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams, and descriptions to determine sequence, tolerances, and adjustments.
  • Install controls and power wiring, including troubleshooting electrical issues and appropriate testing and inspection of electrical components.
  • Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures, as appropriate.
  • Measure, examine, assemble, test and complete product, including detection of defects, to ensure specification conformance using precision testing instruments and specified programs.
  • Accurately track and log assembly time sheets for each build and tear down.
  • Properly identify and document QMS and department procedures.
  • Adherence to all safety guidelines and plant rules.
  • Perform regular maintenance of tools and electrical wiring.
  • Safe operation of the forklift, scissor lift and all other lift assist and tools.
  • Participate in and support lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with various electrical systems and components.
  • Electrical technology education a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of AC/DC circuitry, PLC and 480 Volt 3 Phase.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 40 pounds.

You Must Have
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical equipment.

  • Familiarity with various electrical systems and components.
  • Electrical technology education a plus.
