Job Title:

Production Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing plant. This role involves maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and environmental responsibility, while leading a team to achieve production goals.

Responsibilities
  • Enforce safety policies including the use of PPE and ensure safe working conditions.
  • Conduct safety training and ensure timely incident reporting within 24 hours.
  • Participate in safety audits and ensure follow-up on findings.
  • Adhere to production schedules and maintain quality standards.
  • Communicate and enforce company quality policies and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure sanitation and proper equipment cleaning before production.
  • Manage production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Maintain a strong shop floor presence and address issues promptly.
  • Recruit and train employees, ensuring effective deployment and HR compliance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching to employees.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Support environmental programs and proactively reduce waste and emissions.
Essential Skills
  • 5-7 years of supervisory/management experience in manufacturing, preferably food manufacturing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in English and strong communication skills.
  • Experience in lean manufacturing and problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Computer literacy and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 12-hour shifts.

Work Environment

Our climate-controlled facility features varying temperatures, with some areas being hot due to ovens and others cold from cooling tunnels. We are transitioning to a 24/7 operation to increase production. The role requires working night shifts from 6:30pm to 7:00am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Louis, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
