Manual Machinist in Training at MD&A
Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC, a world‑class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs, has an immediate opening for an entry‑level Manual Machinist. The role is in‑person based out of our St. Louis Repairs facility and includes a training period with experienced machinists and turbine technicians before transitioning to a full‑fledge turbine machinist.

Description
The Repairs Division is seeking a qualified individual who has a desire to join a growing organization and an appetite for diverse and technically challenging work.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Determine work procedures, machine tools, equipment, and attachments to be used for assigned work.
- Use precision measuring instruments and equipment such as Vernier calipers, height gauges, inside, outside, and depth micrometers, parallels, gage blocks, dial indicators, and surface gages to attain accurate dimensions and maintain tolerances.
- Set up and operate machines, including but not limited to lathes, mills, drills, grinders, saws, and boring equipment.
- Must be willing to work extended hours during our peak season, including day and night shifts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, apprenticeship classes, or trade school.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Strong work ethic.
- Good listening skills.
