Experienced CNC Mill Operator - 2nd Shift

The Gund Company has an immediate opening for a full-time Experienced CNC Mill Operator II to join our team.

Shift: 2nd. Pay:
Starting at $24/Hour + 15% Shift Differential.

St. Louis, MO.

The Gund Company, a leader in engineered material solutions, specializes in customized electrical insulation products. With 12 global facilities, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking a CNC Mill Operator II to join our team.

As a CNC Mill Operator II, you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes setting up, loading, and operating various CNC production machinery and adhering to safety and quality standards.

• Set up and operate production equipment such as mills.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Troubleshoot production machinery as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED with prior hands-on, vocational, or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of combined CNC Mill formal training and experience, or equivalent.
• Strong basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.

• Experience with Manual Lathe, CNC Mill, CNC Programming or similar equipment.
• Previous experience in a custom manufacturing environment.

• Non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
• PPE is required.
• Repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
