** Job Description
** Schnucks has a full time Service Engineer opening in our Bakery Plant. This position requires working an assigned 5 day 8 hour shift with weekends required. This position will either be second or third shift on a long term basis.

Additional overtime may be required as needs dictate.
** This is an in-person position located at our Bakery Plant (8590 Page Ave, Overland, MO 63114).
**** We are looking for someone available Monday-Friday 2pm - 1030pm at a minimum.
**** Requirements:*
* • Working knowledge of industrial equipment, Food Safety, GMP’s,  maintenance and repair, this includes chains, bearings gearboxes, motors, conveyers, belts, lifts, mixers and many other areas that require maintenance due to motion wear.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance and repair. This includes voltages from 480vac 3 phase power to 24vac control voltage. Wiring, fuses, relays frequency drives, PLC’s and the ability to troubleshoot machine ladder logic.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, such as valves, cylinders, switches and the ability to troubleshoot systems off schematics.
• Working knowledge of refrigeration and heating equipment including freezers, compressors, evaporators, ice machines, water chillers and associated refrigerant,  gauges, fittings, valves, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Ovens, boilers, natural gas burners, electric heating elements, thermostats and temperature probes.
• General maintenance areas, including floor repairs, metal repairs painting and sealing. The ability to understand equipment manuals for repairs and spare parts
** Educational Requirements**:2 year Associate Degree or equivalent from a technical school; or 5 years’ experience in an industrial setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
** Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:
*** Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
* Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
* Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
