Paradowski Creative is seeking a seasoned Account Director to lead strategic client relationships and guide multidisciplinary teams in delivering work that’s as smart as it is effective. This role requires an experienced communicator and problem-solver with deep roots in the agriculture industry—someone who understands the nuance of ag audiences and brings insight, empathy, and business acumen to every interaction.
As Account Director, you’ll serve as a strategic lead across major agriculture accounts, partnering with clients to uncover opportunities, drive results, and strengthen their brand position in a competitive, rapidly evolving category. Internally, you’ll mentor account team members, foster collaboration across departments, and ensure that all work ladders up to both client objectives and agency standards. You’ll also be responsible for driving account profitability, ensuring accurate forecasting, and helping the agency meet or exceed revenue targets tied to your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior client lead across major agriculture accounts, building trust through transparency, vision, and results
- Develop and steward strategic plans that connect business objectives with creative and media solutions
- Translate complex agricultural topics and data into communications that are clear, compelling, and actionable
- Guide cross-functional teams through the development and execution of integrated campaigns across digital, content, social, experiential, and traditional channels
- Lead internal and external work streams to ensure deliverables meet agreed-upon timelines, scopes, budgets, and KPIs
- Own forecasting and revenue targets for assigned accounts, ensuring profitability and consistently seeking opportunities to meet and exceed financial goals
- Partner with creative, strategy, and media leads to foster alignment and ensure all work is brought to life with intention and awareness for how tools and technology are reshaping modern storytelling
- Identify new opportunities for organic growth and work with agency leadership to pursue and scope incremental work
- Provide proactive counsel during times of ambiguity, challenge, or shifting client priorities
- Mentor and manage account team members, offering guidance, feedback, and accountability that fuels growth and performance
- Champion Paradowski’s values, process, and pursuit of excellent work
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in account leadership roles within creative, brand, or integrated agencies
- Demonstrated expertise in agriculture marketing—preferably working with seed, equipment, crop protection, input providers, or ag-tech brands
- Strong understanding of ag customer segments including growers, retailers, dealers, and influencers
- Proven ability to lead complex programs across digital, content, experiential, and traditional channels
- Skilled in leading client conversations around strategy, performance, and innovation
- Proven ability to manage up to ~$5M in annual account revenue, with a track record of meeting or exceeding growth and profitability goals
- Experienced in financial management, including scoping, forecasting, and resource planning
- Adept at guiding teams through the nuances of regulated, seasonal, or decentralized industries
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to C-suite executives and facilitating high-level strategy sessions
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; experience and/or comfort with exploring emerging creative technologies (e.g. AI-assisted tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, or Runway) and tools like Workamajig is a plus
