Job DescriptionCRB is seeking a highly experienced Project Director – Construction Operations to lead large, complex design‑build and EPC (ONEsolution) projects across Texas and the broader Midwest region. This is a senior leadership role responsible for guiding pursuit strategy, overseeing preconstruction and project delivery, and developing high‑performing teams.

This role requires frequent travel to project sites.
Responsibilities- Lead Regional Construction Operations
- Serve as the operational lead for Texas and select Midwest projects, providing oversight across multiple concurrent efforts.
- Partner with local leadership in Dallas to drive pursuit strategy, client engagement, and market growth.
- Lead integrated design‑build and preconstruction activities, ensuring smooth handoffs from opportunity through execution.
- Drive Excellence in Project Delivery
- Oversee large, complex EPC/ONEsolution projects, guiding teams across engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Ensure delivery excellence around safety, quality, schedule, budget, and overall client experience.
- Support contract negotiations and serve as a senior point of contact for clients and partners.
- Develop & Mentor Project Teams
- Coach and guide Project Managers and Project Directors on proposal creation, project execution planning, risk management, and change management.
- Model strong leadership behaviors and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Build team capability across the region and cultivate future operational leaders.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 15 years of engineering and construction experience, with a strong record leading complex design‑build or EPC projects.
- Proven success managing multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and integrated delivery partners.
- Advanced knowledge of engineering disciplines, construction sequencing, and project execution best practices.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- PMP, AECPMA, or similar certifications (or desire to obtain).
- Commitment to ongoing professional and leadership development.
