The Facilities Manager serves as the single point of contact responsible for comprehensive facilities management. Working closely with the Sr. Facilities Manager and Account Leader, the role coordinates tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure client satisfaction. It implements innovative programs and processes that reduce operating costs and increase productivity, leads facilities staff, manages budgets, oversees reporting requirements, and maintains seamless client relationships.
Responsibilities- Support the Sr. Facilities Manager and Account Lead in implementing short‑ and long‑term goals and projects for the client.
- Manage work assignments for building technicians, vendors, and contractors while ensuring compliance with client and JLL policies.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements and complete all facilities‑related reports accurately and on time.
- Develop and manage capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with client representatives.
- Lead facilities staff to deliver expected service levels within prescribed budgets and performance indicators.
- Conduct contractor oversight on‑site, ensuring adherence to all safety, compliance, and service delivery standards.
- Prepare operating budget reports, monthly forecasts, and variance reports while recommending capital improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis.
- 5+ years industry experience in a corporate environment, third‑party service provider, or consulting role.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to manage both technical and administrative staff.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS programs including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Computer proficiency in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Ability to work on‑site 5 days per week.
- MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience developing and implementing annual management plans for commercial buildings.
- Background in budget development and variance analysis.
- Experience with capital improvement recommendations and project oversight.
- Knowledge of facilities management best practices and innovation implementation.
- Track record of maintaining positive client relationships in a facilities management environment.
- Experience sharing innovations and contributing to organizational best practices.
On‑site – St. Louis, MO.
Standard business hours (5 days per week on‑site required).
