About the Role:
BJC is currently seeking a Sponsorship and Events Manager. This role involves overseeing sponsorship contracts and negotiations and managing a team of marketing professionals. This is a hybrid position that requires frequent onsite meetings.

Leads and provides essential oversight for the sponsorship and events team. Sets Sponsorship and Events priorities and strategies. Responsible for identifying and evaluating potential future sponsor ships.
Responsibilities- Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages and evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
- Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
- Strengthens existing events and activities platforms, channels and vehicles, and leverages best practices to initiate and develop more effective and efficient community and/or employee events.
- Supports senior team leadership in managing external vendor relationships and deliverables relative to community and/or employee events and activities.
- Manages strategic marketing partnerships with sports teams, entertainment venues, and local/regional organizations, nonprofits, and entities.
- Responsible for managing marketing communications activity including coordinating events and outreach activities that serve the region’s mission and objectives.
- Integrates current change management concepts and strategies into all team responsibilities and communications and marketing deliverables.
- Bachelor’s Degree
