Branch Management Trainee (Open)

Location: St. Louis, MO

About the Position: Branch Manager Trainee in St. Louis, MS. This program trains new graduates in branch operations, safety, customer service, and sales to meet regional sales and budgeting objectives.

• Attend and complete all training modules provided by Airgas.
• Ensure safety, health, and welfare of sales, operations, and associates.
• Administer safety policies and procedures per regional and federal guidelines.
• Answer customer inquiries and enter customer orders.
• Coordinate with territory sales personnel to grow market sales and margins.
• Pull, package, and reconcile customer orders, cash, and bank deposits.
• Maintain accurate open order edit lists, quote lists, and purchase order reports.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to internal and external customers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.

• Bachelor's degree preferred;
  High School Diploma acceptable with work experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong multitasking, independent work, and professional communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of welding, safety, gases, and supplies desirable.
• Understanding of financial accounting terms and principles (gross margin, ROI, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Professional phone skills.
