Regional Director - Building and Construction - Midwest
Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is searching for a Regional Director to join our Building & Construction team in the Midwest Region (Ohio, Indiana, and Wisconsin). The candidate must be based in or willing to relocate to Indianapolis, IN or Columbus, OH.

Responsibilities- Provides day-to-day leadership, guidance and general management of a multi-site portfolio, ensuring operational controls, administrative/reporting procedures, and people strategies to drive growth and financial strength.
- P&L management: drive the region to achieve/exceed sales revenue and profitability with effective expense management.
- People leadership: create and motivate a high-performance team; attract, recruit and retain talent.
- People development: mentor staff, set goals and support career development.
- Work & workforce planning: ensure employees are trained with safety and business processes in mind.
- Equipment & tools: provide necessary equipment and training on procedures.
- Execution of work: deploy performance metrics to sustain disciplined performance management.
- Monitor process effectiveness through KPIs and reporting.
- Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the business.
- Client relationships: represent the business with clients and partners; act as a lead/role model.
- Collaborate with CFO and senior leadership on forecasting, financial projections, and analyses of programs and policies.
- Participate in technical trade or association meetings and act as a technical resource to management and major clients.
- Make business recommendations on capital expenditures and other initiatives; assist with budgeting and resource allocation.
- Ensure effective Billing & Collections practices in the region.
- Align program initiatives with the Company’s core values and culture.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
- MBA preferred
- 8+ years’ experience in an operations leadership role with the company or industry
- 3+ years’ experience with client interactions and business development preferred
- Experience in service sector and multi-site environment required
- Advanced organizational leadership skills
- Excellent written, verbal and client-facing communication skills
